2026/27 skating season turbo-charged with Junior Grand Prix broadcast deals

Figure skating fans have received a boost on the eve of the 2026/27 season with three major broadcasters set to cover the ISU Figure Skating Junior Grand Prix series.

Ahead of the season-opening event in Xi’An, China on August 20-22, the International Skating Union (ISU) reached agreements with SBS (KOR), TV Asahi (JPN) and Okko (BLR, KAZ, RUS) to cover the seven events across an eight-week period that will form the road to the Finals in Chongqing (CHN) in December.

ISU Director General Colin Smith said: “It’s fantastic that the stars of figure skating’s next generation will be covered with comprehensive coverage from leading broadcast partners, who do so much to take our sport to millions of fans globally.”
