Pair Skating

The ISU announces that the Single & Pair Skating Technical Committee, through an initiative supported by the ISU Development Program, is organizing an International Pair Skating Development Camp for Coaches and Pair Skaters in: 

Berlin, Germany: March 31 - April 5, 2026

The aim of the Camp is to develop Pair Skating to a high level and to introduce Pair Skating in new areas where it is not yet traditionally pursued. Top, world-class Coaches will moderate the Camp. A world-level ranked Pair team will be in attendance to assist. Daily off-ice classes will include ballet, lifts, relaxation/yoga, movement to music and the study of the Program Components. For a more personal learning effect, the experts will be available for one-to-one contact with participating Coaches.

The 2026 Pair Camp is designed for Novice and lower Junior-aged Pairs with the following requirements:

A Pair is eligible for participation who for:

  • Novice Pairs: Has not reached the age of sixteen (16) for girls and eighteen (18) for boys in Pair Skating.
  • Junior Pairs: Has not reached the age of twenty-one (21) for Women and of twenty-three (23) for Men in Pair Skating.
  • Application deadline: Friday, February 20, 2026

The focus of this camp is to develop new Novice and Junior Pair teams and to increase the skill sets of existing Novice and Junior Pair teams. 

Applications for the Camp for Skaters and Coaches should be made by ISU Members via the Good Grants platform.

Ice Dance - Europe

The ISU announces that the ISU Ice Dance Technical Committee, with the support of the ISU Development Program, is organizing International Ice Dance Development Training Camps for Ice Dance Couples (Junior and Novice age category) and their Coaches as outlined below.

The aim of the Camps is the development of Ice Dance Coaches and their Couples to a higher technical level. Top, world-class Coaches will moderate the Camps. Daily off-ice classes will include ballet, ballroom dance, jazz/mime/expression, relaxation/yoga, movement to music, theatre and modern dance technique lectures. For a more personal learning effect, the experts will be available for a one-to-one contact with participating Coaches.

Junior age category ISU Ice Dance Development Camp

Oberstdorf, Germany, April 25 – May 2, 2026

An Ice Dance Couple is eligible for participation if the Skaters have reached the age of 13 but not the age of 21 by July 1 preceding the Camp. This corresponds to the ISU Junior age restrictions.

Novice age category ISU Ice Dance Development Camp

Oberstdorf, Germany, May 2-9, 2026

An Intermediate Ice Dance Couple is eligible for participation if the Skaters have not reached the age of 16 by July 1 preceding the Camp.

An Advanced Ice Dance Couple is eligible for participation if the Skaters have reached the age of 10 but not the age of 16 for Women and 18 for Men, by July 1 preceding the Camp.

Synchronized Skating - Europe

The ISU announces that the ISU Synchronized Skating Technical Committee, with the support of the ISU Development Program is organizing an International Synchronized Skating Development Training Camp for Coaches and Team Participants of Junior age and level in:

Munich, Germany, May 11 – 14, 2026

The aim of the Camp is the development of Synchronized Skating Coaches and the members of their Teams to a higher technical level and the introduction of Synchronized Skating in new areas where it is not yet traditionally pursued.

Top, world-class Coaches will moderate the Camp. Daily off-ice classes will include theory, GOE and IJS requirements, music lectures, physical education/fitness, ballet, jazz/mime/expression, relaxation/yoga, movement to music, theatre and modern dance technique lectures. For a more personal learning effect, the experts will be available for one-to-one contact with participating Coaches.

The ISU Synchronized Skating Development Camp is designed for Junior aged participants of a Team with the following age requirements: A member of a Team is eligible for participation if the Skater has reached the age of 13 but not the age of 19 by July 1 preceding the Camp, which corresponds to the ISU Junior age restriction.

Applications 

Application deadline: Friday, February 27, 2026 

Applications for the Camp must be made by the respective ISU Member through the Good Grants platform.
